This 2 screens are from mu current campaign, Aug 1942 & somewhere north of the Solomons.
![]() ![]() As you can see, the wind from the stern must be very strong if it blows the smoke over the bow... Seriously, is this a known issue? |

Not an issue. The smoke will flow and blow with the wind. Looks and feels realistic to me. It also makes it harder to determine the ships direction when viewed from far away.

Yea, the only problem here is that unlike particles (i.e. smoke), the flags are not dynamic and don't move with the wind. Otherwise this looks quite correct. I'm used to even seeing this sort of an effect with other games like Distant Guns where the smoke is thicker and the wind definitely has a major effect on it!

Well, as far as wind direction and strength, I believe it only "exists" in the game's particle engine. I don't think there's a mechanism to make any polys move with the wind - then again, we've been surprised before by what modders could come up with.
