Default Anybody know what this does?

Hi fellow sub captains , does any body know what the last value in the following line from the Main.cfg file relates too ?

[Video]
Resolution=1280,1024,60,22

Could it be color depth ? If so what would happen if I changed it to 32, as in 32bit?
I have a NV8800GTX and would like to know if ATI users have the same value in their file.

If it's color depth, it's a new one on me. I've heard of 16,24 and 32 but never heard of 22bit.

It's a new one on me also. :hmm: Doubt it has anything to do with colour depth tho.

It's the value for the DirectX's enum for the 32bit color depth of the screen buffer (C++ programmers know what I'm talking about (D3DDISPLAYMODE.Format of D3DFORMAT type and 22 stands for D3DFMT_X8R8G8B8)). More info on http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb172548.aspx and http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb172558(VS.85).aspx

In short, don't change it
