Uboat start base?
which of the choices would be the most logical start bases for uboats
for the 1943 and 1944 campaigns? thanks

well, penang was the main base of operations for indian ocean uboats. thats were i always start out of for that reason.

Penang, situated on the west coast of Peninsula Malaya was under Japanese occupation and was selected as the main U-boat base. A second base was established at Kobe, Japan, and a small repair base was located at Singapore, Jakarta and Surabaya.
