Default Right click from periscope...

Hi mates!
One thing I really want in this game is the possibility to be able to rightclick in the attack periscope view and go back to that view where you sit by the periscope in the conningtower! You know go from F3 view to that view that's in the conning tower after you clicked on the periscope? Any one know how to get this working?

Yo!
Thx for the reply!
That sounds excellent, I'll check it out! Just read on another thread that SH3 had problems using the mouse click function from peri-views, so it should work with a keyboard button instead as you described! Smart idea to then bind the mouse to that keyboard button, I'll try that, problem is I think I have had problems earlier with my logitech mouse and using the back/forward keys in a game.....
Thank you very much Mikhayl!

There is a small program wich allows you to change bindings

Setkeys, look for it on the forums.

I bound that to CTRL-F3 works fine

Hey!
Yup, used SetKeys, works perfectly! Unfortunatly my problem is my logitech mouse and the buggy program that belongs to it (setpoint). For some reason it turns of all of the extra buttons on my mouse so I can't use them when a game is launched, have tried every option in Setpoint......
Will send a mail to logitech support and ask what's wrong with this buggy ****!!!

hi Bracer,

you can bind a key (like the numpad 0) to a mouse button using the mouse software. after done this, you can bind this key to the "go back" function" by using setkeys.exe

i am playing with this workaround and it works fine. my middle mouse button is assigned to the go back key and i can always leave my attack periscope by pressing it (for opening the tube doors manually).

I have made for myself this one, where i use the letter "v" (like victory) to go back at sit down position from attack persiscope, then conning tower, then fore interior.
That work also from maps to fore interior or crew manage to aft interior. Or again, from messages to radio position, etc ...

These modifications have been done on the Commands.en from gwx2.

pascal-goback.zip

PS: i have lost the french Commands.fr file from gwx2. If someone have the kindness to send me...

Thx for the reply, but as I wrote on post above yours unfortunatly my mouse software doesn't work.... I have binded a key with setkey then binded the same key to one of my extra mouse buttons. I used Caps lock because I can see on the keyboard if the LED starts to go on and off when I press the mouse button, and it works fine until I launch sh3.exe. So my problem actually is that the mouse software disables the extra buttons on the mouse when I launch a game even tough I've turned off the "game recognition" option in the logitech software......
I will contact Logitech support and see if it's a bug or me doing wrong....

Not the middle mouse button - I did it for the right mouse button.

Put this in the Go_back_to_prev_cam command in commands_xx.cfg:

Key0=0x02,,"Right Click"

Note, though, that this makes Right Click do "go back" at times when you might not want it to (e.g. right-clicking on the NavMap will go back to the command room instead of deselecting whatever map tool you're currently using - though you can get around this easily enough).

OLC, was it really that easy all along? As for going back when you don't want to, I always go to the map by right-clicking the Navigator anyway, so will right-clicking the map tool take me back to his view? Cool!
