Default Quick Radar Question

I'm playing 1.5 with the latest RSRDC. I'm now in 1945 and all of a sudden, the escorts can see me at night from very far away (further out than the little "circle range" thingy). I mean, they make a beeline for me when I still can't even see them! Is this the Japanese finally getting Radar detection equipment? Or are they picking me up with their own radar?

Default Own radar!

The party's over pal. The enemy are equipped with radar of their own and they're loaded for bear with fancy new depth charges. The radar isn't quite as good as yours though. Just plan on any warship being equipped with it and plan accordingly. It just means you get further ahead on the end around and hit periscope depth earlier. It also means better battery management for the longer submergence times.

Welcome to SUBSIM and sink em all!
