Installing SH3, Windows Vista problem

I downloed SH3 from Direct 2 Drive about 6 months ago, ive recently upgraded to Vista and I wanted to reinstall a fresh SH3 and add GWX2 on it as well. So as per GWX2 vista install instructions I deleted my SH3 and tried to reinstall.

Now when I open the setup.exe it starts running and then I get this error message.

1607: Unable to install InstallShield scripting runtime.

Any help?

Have you tried the loading instructions as posted by one of our forum members. If not you can find it in the Forum Members Helping Forum Members tab at the below site.

Yea it doesnt work, I cant get past step 1 as I cant even install the game.

ok im going nuts, i need my siltent hunter fix =(. Can anyone help me with this problem?

The only thing I can suggest is to use Windows XP. Vista is kinda... full of bugs.
