Does anyone know how tracers are handled exactly? Where the dds files are, or inf there's anything else tweakable about them?
I wouldn't mind looking into seeing if there's any way to put some more bling bling into them. |

What I have in mind is to add that squiggly effect to them, maybe with a tiny bit of smoke. Now, everyone knows that the idea of squiggly tracers we've seen in is just the result of the camera shaking, but it's still a cool effect and in keeping with SH4's much hyped "cinematic experience". I'd also like to soften the edges the bit, maybe make them a bit thinner.
Plus, 20mm and 40mm shells often ricochet off of solid objects and I'd like to see if I can model that too. |
