Hello. Firs of i want to thank u for creating great stuff for SH4.
Second. Im having some problems. After a long break from SH4 i updated it yesterday to 1.4. First what i did. 1.dissabled the mods in "JSGME" 2.Run patch 1.4 3.made a snapshot of gamefiles 4.Downloaded and installed in order: -ROW files -Triger Maru 1.7.6 -Run silent run deep -NSM -Manual target range fix -radio honolulu Then i loaded the camp i was playing in 1.3, a save file from while i was in doc. I set sail. Encounter a task force. There is a fleet carrier. The aim sould be the fligt deck cause i see the red markings in recon man. I even have the larger gradient dials in periscope. I calculate the range from flightdeck, and reecheck in attach map. Here it shows way of. I then reeconfigure range from the taalest mast. Then it shows "dead on" in attach map. So what could be the reason why this dont work? I have not DL any other recon manuals. should mention that i did manage to sink the carrier with 3 fishes and earning 28000T ![]() Hope u can help! Hello fagraas, I need a bit more information to help. I see your running TM 1.7.6 and Run Silent, Run Deep. Are you sure you have the correct version of
"RSRDC_P3_TM_v320" running? It will appear like this within JSGME. There are three versions of RSRD, one for the stock game, one for Trigger Maru, and one for Real Fleet Boat. There is a patch also for RSRD that should load just after RSRD, it's name is "RSRDC_v320_Patch3" Likewise the manual Ship Centered, Accuracy Fix (SCAF) has different versions as well to go along with the various mods used. So make sure you are using the correct version. The version of "5_SCAF_4_RSRD_TM_v320" is the correct one found in JSGME. Now a couple more questions, which Carrier were you checking and do you remember what was the listed funnel/structure height in the Recognition Manual? I want to make sure the file was loaded correctly. Off the cuff the game does a fair job of placing the target ship on the map at the approximate right range with the options of "No map contact update" unchecked. But it does a terrible job of having the Stadimeter find range with the stock mast heights for manual targeting. Another way to check is to use the Sonar to get and send a range to target, it's very accurate. Get back with me and I'll see what I can do.

Hi.
I am aware of what u are saying. It was the Shokaku fleet carrier, structure height 95,1Ft. The only thing i have altered since comming across this glitch is removing the ROW spechial eff and adding NSM + textures warship, 4 blade propeller, that button pack and adding the RSRDC patch, cause ive missed it. I have not yet come across any other ships to test if it was only this one ship ore if the alterations i have made have fixed the problem. nothing to shoot at so far.. i am posting an image of Generic mod enabler! ![]() |

Just tested the sub school, torpedo attach. Ranges on the Mogami Cruser was at one and nearly same point as folows.
*Chimney witch is marked as meashure point in ref book 2114 *Mast witch obvius is old ref point 1222 *Sonar range ping 1212 So its obvius the mod is corrupted on my system for some reason! what can it be! ![]() |

Ok, two things I see you may have missed in the JSGME activation order. First you should not use the "4_SCAF_for_TM 1.7.6" with RSRDC also installed. The 4_SCAF_for_TM 1.7.6 is to be used with only Trigger Maru as the main "super mod" installed. It's generally ok to install other Visual mods like the ROW group, or the ship textures type of mods, or the "news" mod and the like. But Trigger Maru changes and adds several ship configurations which the "4_SCAF_for_TM 1.7.6" specifically addresses. Run Silent, Run Deep adds and changes several more ship configurations, and when it is installed with TM not only should the activation order be watched but also the particular version. In order to have the correct SCAF edition you should use the one named "5_SCAF_4_RSRDC_TM_v320".
This is the second thing, this edition takes in both the TM and RSRD changes. As the "5" at the front of its name represents, load the Trigger Maru parts 1,2,3, in order, next load RSRDC_P3_TM_v320 and its patch, then load 5_SCAF_4_RSRDC_TM_v320 (it's the 5th mod to load in this sequence). You can usually add the ROW visual (or whatever) mods whenever you like, before or after these 5 pieces. Just read their own instructions for compatibility. When you have RSRDC loaded AFTER SCAF, what changes SCAF made to the ship heights are overwritten by RSRDC (or whatever other mod that may follow and change the same file). The Recognition Manual pictures may not have changed if RSRDC didn't change them, although RSRDC does change some.

THanx man for pointing that out... Have fixed it acording to instructions. and on my new patroll i came across a large convoy, and after 3 hits when aiming for new points, i think i can caal it a suksees.. thanx again m'8!
