Would The Hood be considered a King George class BB?

No the Hood was a Admiral class battlecruiser
The only one in the class
Layed down in 1916 some 20 years before the KGV class

As stated it is a battlecruiser.

A heavily upgraded battlecruiser that is heavier than any other British battleship. The ship she's closest related to would be the Renown but the Renown is much lighter as it hasn't been upgraded. Flawed design and good gunnery from the Germans and the rest is history.

Hood was the pride of the Navy, making world tours and such during the '30s. When Hood found Bismarck a lot of people assumed the battle would be over before it started. They were right, but...

You dang betcha "The Mighty Hood" is worth a lot of renown.

Someone made a renown chart for GWX 1.03. IIRC the Hood was the most valuable ship on the list with 1500 points. I remember someone complaining that the Bismarck was only worth 1400.

But i don't know if these values have changed with GWX 2.0. I'm sure there is some file in the SH3 folder which contains all the renown points, but i'm no expert on this.

I'm sure the British rated them differently. Bismarck's renown probably doubled after Hood went down.
