As defined in the topic we noticed that the submarines do not sink even though they are destroyed. Above all in Multiplayer the submarine remains in the game.
Much worse is that he subt surfaces guideless after beeing sunk. The problem here is that the "ghost submarine" still counts as a target and if you had orderd your crew to use the deck gun they will continue firing. Does anyone of you know how and where we can the parameter so that the subs has to go down when they are destroyed? |

You've patched to 1.4 ?
I think subs are for cosmetic stuff and not much effort has been put into them. Reminds me of that book I read 'SPY SUB' when the USS Viperfish was going to test their underwater deap sea camera (sonar) equipment on an object shape. It was so top secret that they had this ship transport the thing in a crate (nobody could see it) into the mid pacific. They lowered the crate into the sea and opened the bottom flap and the object would sink to the ocean floor. They then lifted the 'empty' crate and there it was, floating happily on the sea - a Soviet sub lookalike. Somebody in engineering forgot to make the object 'heavier than water' ![]() ![]() What followed was a major security crisis and damage control.... |

Yes we have patched to 1.4. We think this parameter is hard coded. Hopefully not.
