Many people get easily confused with Latvija (Latvia) and Lietuva (Lithuania), just as with Poland/Holland, no need to worry. I bet most peple don't know wchich one is North of which one.

Too late for most of us, I'm affraid. It's not Harry Potter's Forums. :rotfl: We, you know, fought in WWII and WWI as well...

As to lessons, I bet some geography teachers don't distinguish these Litv-Lietuv too. I met one [who claimed to be a geography teacher, but (from a far-West big country ) who believed we have white bears in Poland, i.e. the far-East country over the Ural mountains, somewhere close to Siberia.
