Your Favourite Installed Mods

Hi all.

I currently have installed - Real-Fleet-Boat 1.4 for Reflections-On-Water with numerous additional ROW effects and sounds mods.

I just wondered what YOUR favourite installed mods are??

I just want to see what the average person has installed and I also want to see if there any little gems (that are compatible with R-F-B for R-O-W *or not as the case may be*) out there that are a must have?

I'm more of a sounds and effects person, so any mods containing these would be a bonus!

Anyone care to enlighten me??

...well my motto has become keep it slim and trim....I currently have two installs of SH4 1.4 with the latest versions of the following..

TM+RSRD+ROW

RFB+RSRD+ROW

as for additional effects, well I just don't know, I am quite happy with ROW it has visuals and sound, so its pretty complete for me, I am sure others will chime in with their opinions.

Oh and don't forget to read Ducimus thread on the PTO, this will give you a wonderful historical outlook on the sub war.

Enjoy!

Thanks for your input.

TM? Trigger Maru. What is this mod about?? I know I could look it up but i'm after people's opinions and experiences and not just to read a readme of various mods.

Can you explain RSRD please??

Soz DJFootlocker. Late post.

TM (Trigger Maru) = Mega mod that changes AI behaviour, changes campaign, textures, add narwhal sub any many more stuff

http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=115258

RSRDC (Run silent, run deep, the campaign) = Completely rewritten pacific campaign.
Try it, it's awesome.. it's much more realistic.

http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=123467

My favorite mods are
TM
RSRDC
ROW (must have sky water and smoke mod)

and afcourse my hi-res sub skins

Me too!

I spend most of my playing time on TM though. I am awaiting the next release of RFB before I jump head first into that one.

I take it TM ups the difficulty somewhat??

RSRD sounds good also.

I might do two installs like some of you seem to have done so I can experience both.

TM 1.7.5+RSRDC+ROW+NSM3.3 Lite. Started out in '41, early '43 now. Couldn't stand the sinkings without NSM 3.3 Lite version. While in port I installed NSM 3.3 Lite then ROW for NSM Lite just to see what would happen. So far all seems well.
Anyone see any conflicts with that setup? Some files were overwritten.

Others include, Warships retextured, Rel Gato Interior Overhaul, and Foo's excellent Sub textures.

Ducimus, please keep the midnight oil burning, (easy for me to say)..huhh...
