U-Boat 1.2 not installing??

Hi all.

I have recently downloaded and attempted to install U-Boat 1.2 via JSGME with no luck.
I installed it whilst in port as suggested. I also tried installing over a clean install patched to 1.4 then upgraded to GWX 2.0, again, to no avail.

Any ideas anybody??

P.S - The file, once downloaded appears as a 7Z file?? That doesnt seem right to me.

Might be an idea just to send a PM to JCWolf as he is the owner of the mod, if he misses this he will get your backup PM.....good luck matey.

If you still have no luck PM me and I'll jump on JCs head to wake him up

Hi,
1. Did you download it from JC Wolf's site ?
2. Did you unzip it from 7z before putting it thru JSGME.

Hi,

Yeah, I dl'd it from JC's site.
I dont get an option of unzipping the file because it comes as a 7Z file (which is an XPS file).
Im have no idea what an XPS file is, never seen one before!!

Any ideas??:hmm:

7Zip is a free file compression utility. Check it out here http://www.7-zip.org/

Dunno about XPS but I recommend a free utility by the name of 7 zip which will unzip U-Boat 1.2 to a folder. The folder is what you put into the MODS folder then activate thru JSGME.

@HW3 Great minds think alike .. you posted as I was typing LOL
