Default "Special" missions in RSRD?

I'm running RSRD for TM 1.7.2. Done 4 patrols so far - every one has been to report to a specific area, patrol for a given amount of time, etc., then when I complete that and report in I've been given a new patrol assignment. Does RSRD still include the photo recon, pilot rescue, and commando insert missions (and I just haven't been assigned any)? I read one post that said recommended to install RSRD to avoid these missions, but the main RSRD thread indicates these missions are still included.

My very first mission on my first patrol was to insert commandos on an island to the SW of Makin in the Marshall Islands. My second objective was to "support the landing" which included staying in the area for a specified amount of time. I got credit for both objectives and then I was told to the patrol the Marshall Islands for shipping within a 300NM radius. That's what I'm doing currently and I haven't run into any issues, yet.

I really like the RSRDC mod a lot. I'm not using RFB, NSM, or TM with the mod.

I'm using RSRDC with RFB and all the patrols are combat patrols. No insertions, no special misssions. At least I hope there is a variety in the Mod.

Maybe TM and RFB have disabled those features in RSRDC. It was really cool to watch the soldiers pop up on deck, get into the raft one by one, and paddle over to the beach. I was expecting gunfire from the island and had everyone at battle stations, but the island was deserted. It's just an eye candy mission, but it was a refreshing change of venue.

One thing that may make a difference is that I'm using the Narwhal. Since she was a larger boat than the standard fleet boat, they used her for special missions like this, because there was more room for soldiers and their gear.
