Looks like a clipping error like it happens quite often in all kinds of video games. (objects disappearing in walls, people stuck in doors.......) the only fix that I can think about is to place crewman a little bit further inside the conning tower as collisions in the game should be hard coded.

well its a bit of speculation on my part but what I would assume about
it is this 1. yes with hexing its possible to back the crewman far enough away from the conning tower wall to have it so his range of motion doesnt intercede with it. 2. under that circumstance when you moved all four crewman away from the conning tower wall far enough to avoid intrusion through it they would all be stood either back to back or back in back merged due to the limited amount of space in the conning towers. by inference then I suppose the direct answer to the question is no not currently and it seems unlikely. though nothing is beyond the possible around this place. Ja, that bug has been with us since stock SH3. Once the crewman stands up straight and quits gawking at the U-boat pen that he's leaving behind... the clipping problem largely disappears.
The problem with moving the location of a crew member is that it will likely cause a similar problem somewhere else. It is safest to leave it alone as it is rare in occurance. |
