Free Cam activation in Conning Tower?

Does anyone know if I can activate the Free Cam in the Conning Tower and remain there without being put back in the control room?

I think that with all the other things that can be modded this is another one that should have a fix as well, I at this point only know of one way and it is kinda cheesy, and that is after having free movement in the main control center move to the rear hatch (door) and as you go out look up at a 45' angle and among the blue around you, you can see the tower... simply move into it, and return the same way you went in, that will allow you free movement, what I think would be cool is if someone would move that 3d set from where it is and place it over the top hatch of the main command room that way all you would have to do is move the camera throught the top hatch and boom your in the tower just like real life. but alas all I can manipulate are .NIF models and I almost sure SH4 does not use those. But i would certainly prefer that over having a hot button. but on the other hand I would alos settle for a hot button that would just move me there and give me free roam.
