I dont know the answer releated to the mod.

I do know that WOW those rubber rafts are noisy !

As to reverting back hopefully you used JSGME which makes it easy. If your using vista well... sorry about that.

LMAO, same here, a nice dark, quiet night, the marines get in the boat then SCCCREEEEEEEEECHHH!! WTF was that, where the hell did the destroyer come from? Did I bottom out? SH** I'm in trouble!!!!
(look around in external view and after the heart starts beating again realize it's the rubber dinghy).

Of all the bugs this one annoys me the most simply because it is such a glaring mistake, how on earth did they miss that one. I don't believe for a second that they didn't test it cuz it happens every single time I get one of those missions.

BTW, I tried switching the ship_collision.wav file with a nice calm, bumping-canoe sound for the raft but of course then you get the nice calm, bumping-canoe sound when a real ship collides with you. I ended up changing it back as the rubber boat missions are few and far between.

I've not installed any mods and I still have those sounds ...
No clue on getting them back other than disabling mods one at a time to see which one is robbing you of your sound...
