Default The game patch from hell...

I was looking to see what EVE online latest update was like. Seems like they managed to deliver a installer for one of the updates that deleted the boot.ini file from players computers!
Result = the computer won't boot into windows anymore. It is not to hard to fix, but a lot of people are not that handy with computers so they are in trouble. Worst patch I have heard of in game history... The forum thread about is at 60 pages, growing... http://myeve.eve-online.com/ingamebo...hreadID=651679

Well its supposed to have been fixed right? Im pretty suer I saw something about it on the front page on the website. Well my copy of EVE installed without any trouble, and the new graphics content looks amazing, im sure you'll agree once you get your game running.

No problem here. I'm not playing Eve at the moment. But I was thinking of starting, and checked out the webb site after the new upgrade. The game looks really good now from what I have seen.
Oh, and the problem is fixed by now, just a lot of people that got hold of the first version of the upgrade was hit. It will calm down in few days and then I can see what people say about the content of the upgrade. I'm tempted...
