Ok, I just bought a brand new system and it is running with Vista. How do I get this darn machine to allow me to plat it keeps on CTD? I have tried setting it up as the admin and also set it up to run under XP-SP2. I am just totally confused and upset, I really am looking forward to GWX 2 and I am trying to get myself set-up.

It's not the Starforce issue is it? I had that with Vista and SH3, you have to download a fix for it if that's the issue. there's a few threads on Subsim about how you do it and where to get it, but I seem to recall it came up with a dialogue box and a link on screen when the issue arose.

Try turning off the User Account Control. It worked for me with SH4. Vista can be a great graphics platform but needs a lot of attention to get things the way you want them. Once you get everything loaded up you should be able to turn it back on. I hate the darn thing. I usually play SH3 on my old computer so I've never had many problems with it. However SH4 is on my Vista machine and was a real pain until that 1.3 patch came out! Good Luck!
