Default Changing Crew Names

Hi

Well I want to make my crew a bit more personal, I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction to changing their names. Was gonna use my friends/family or something, so when my grandma is manning the deck gun with my girlfriend I can easily remember who did what when for promos etc, would also be pretty funny, and if someone gets wounded or killed I will actually care a little who it was, or not in some cases he he.

Thanks for the help

Look for the ActiveUserPlayerUnits.upc in your %userprofile%\sh4\data\cfg\savegames folder. Open that file with Notepad or something and do a search (find/find next) for CrewMemberNameIDLinks ... everywhere you find that string, the name of a crewman will appear on the line just above it. Edit and save.
