Default Flooding

Is it just me or is it really so that if you have serious flooding the crew doesn't do much about it?
Everytime i have flooding i sink and die...
In SH3 you could see 2 timers above the flooded compartment(s): one times which said the time to flood completely and the other one the time to pump and repair.
Now you don't see anything happen.
Are they really doing something about it or are they just lazy and wishing to die?

Best regards,
fvd

Actually, if you put your mouse over the blue line that is located over the affected compartment it will say flooding or flooding under control. The crew does not give up but sometimes the blue line will go right to the top and things are not to good it this happens. If your bulkhead read line is up to the top your patrol is pretty much over if you can surface. I do not recommend submerging again if that happens.

Why on earth they went away from this 'cue' is beyond me.

Now we have spraying water that indicates hull damage

Sometimes the crew just cant keep up . Make the pumps a priority and put your best repair guys in the DC team.

To be fair, I think it was a bit unrealistic to know exactly how long the flooding would take to be under control. I'd be all for a system that just simply told you a compartment had "heavy, moderate or light" flooding, as that's the sort of info they'd really have available. Not an exact to the second time when flooding would be fixed.
