Default cannot save any game....

Dear captains, a strange thing has happened to me.....im at my 9th patrol and my last saved game is a couple of days old......ok nothing special
2 days ago i loaded the last save and went on playing, then saved again....ok
yesterday i loaded again but the screen only showed me only the previous one and not the last save....
Ok, i tried with the previuos one save and back to port, as i thought that if ending the patrol i would have solved the problem, but...........again later on loading the screen only showed me only the same previous save one and not the back to port save....
Then i tried to load an old save when i was still in port and save again with a different name, but again when reloading the screen only showed the same old one and no trace of the new save..........

The conclusion is that i can only load that old save and cannot go for with the game...

Does anyone have an idea of what is it? I have installed patch 3 and TM 1.6 mod +TM patch + gfx pack

It sounds very strange to me........... never happened to me

Never heard of this one either.

I only keep 6 distinct saves. The two in / out base saves and 4 other saves that I roll through and overwright the oldest in turn.

Only things I can think of is maybe there is a cap on the number and size of saved games. Maybe clearing out some of your old saves will help.

Also... sounds silly but... is your disk full ?

Yes is very silly, i also thought that there is a cap in the max saves, but the question is: how to delete the old ones?

My hdisk should be fine with plenty of space, but i double check again and update u

ciao, tks

You can delete them from the game interface I think its in the load game screen. Dont just delete them from the folder as it may wreck your installation.

unfortunately the load game screen does not allow to delete any save...... and from the folder is very risky as there is no logical sequence in the files, so i do not know which are to be deleted...........
