How hard is to change the layout and the buildings in any given harbor? Take away some cranes and mutilstory buildings. I ported in Midway last night and the harbor just bothered me to no end. Thanks ya'll.

Cool, many thanks. I've done any real modding before but I really would like to see some work on the harbors in SH4. Do you know if the over all shape and placement of the land can be changed or is hardcoded?

Right now you are limited to using the existing port objects. In many cases, the most realistic pacific harbors are had by deleting what is in SH4 and having none at all.
You open Campaign_LOC.mis with the editor and under tools check the map location edit box. Make sure you save the mission as a standard mission (ignore player sub checked in proporties). Use a copy, too, it's easy to erase by mistake ![]() tater |
