It's taking 5 minutes to save a game and the files are as big as 1GB!!! What is going on here????
Patch 1.3, RFB 1.3, various odds and ends mods on top of it. How do I get these saved game files smaller?! |

Lots of discussion about this issue in the modding forum.
Did you include a replay ? |

If you're not saving with replay - which is very memory hungry - there;s something seriously wrong somewhere. The longer the mission the bigger the "Save Replay" file -it has to save every incident, position, encounter etc - where a normal savegame just takes a snapshot of the game situation at the moment of saving.

Sounds like beery may have made the same mistake i made in Tmaru 1.3.
Try deleting the submarine SIM files from RFB and see if the problem reoccurs. edit: must do this in port. |
