Default I Hate This I Really Do !!

i have been really getting nito this game...... i own a S-18 just lost my base in manila plenty of fuel left so i hesd to the next base ......new mission to destroy merchies so i do sink 4 of them.
then a new mission on the way home take photos at a port which is more or less on the way home /////am sussecful also my last 2 torps and deck gun sink the mother of all liners....... low on fuel just managing 3-4 knots have been doing this for ever to get home.....then my base is taken over and im asked to go to australia to dock .
i have tried evrey thing submerging running on 1 knot and i cant get home now ...

i hate this why in the hell does my orders prevent me from finishing the game i cant get to a base im miles away from any friendlys yet i planed the fuel wisley......but its not fear the bloody game tells me your nearest base is 3000 miles short of your range ....even if i had 50% of my fuel i would still be short.

can any one help is there a cheat i can use just to get to base i havent sunk this much shipping in a long time and now i cant finish.

Because of the very long distance we have to travel i turn of Limited Fuel and try to make up for my cheating by only travelling at speeds of 5 knots when long distance or till im chasing a merchant/convoy for an attack then i'll hit flank. I never have to worry about my fuel which like the first post, in the past i have run out trying to make it to Fremantle.

I have everything else turned on except for manual targetting just discovered Neals TDC video and a few others so downloaded them so i can get this targetting right before i move to manual.

But as for the limited fuel i''l probably always leave it unchecked.

Unless I'm mistaken, I believe that they'll keep giving you new orders if you radio in a status report after completing a mission and you still have torpedoes, regardless of how much fuel you have left. The way to get around this is to just not send a status report if you complete a mission and have just enough fuel to make it back.

Correct. If you phone a report with munitions on board you will recieve further orders regardless of your fuel status. But no one says you cant go get more fuel before completing the mission. Just choose re-fit instead of ending patrol.

On fuel economy I believe the best 'milage' is acheved at 10 knots.

What they said...... and also submerged is your friend, my boat ("The Barnacle" ) ONLY surfaces to replenish air batteries and occasional deck gun finish off, patrols may take a long time and my crew hate me for it, but I find its the only way to go in a pond the size of the Pacific
