Default single mod for wave/flying sub solution

There has been a lot of discussion here about tweeks, combination modifications and so on to stop or reduce the effects of flying subs in heavy seas. Is there any ONE, stand alone mod that has been done to reduce these effects (JSGME)?

i remember one discussion that reduced the wave height i think. ??

im just looking for 'plug and play' solution here to try out.

Yes, jace11 I believe is the member who did the standalone, I have this at home.
Do a search, might turn up.

This is an old post where I refer to it, I stumbled onto the actual mod by accident, again though it is home.

RDP.
thanks, when searching i was coming up with his fix i just cant seem to file the FILE. do me a favor, i'll PM my email address to you, is there any way you can email me the file (mod)?

or maybe someone could host it on filefront for the entire community... ( i will if it comes down to it)

thanks for the response.

Kevin

EDIT

well a work around was to download the RFB mod (stickied) then use the Scene.dat file that Beery used as its the one modified by Jace11, however, i use the 30 meter vis mod as well, they both modify this file. Ive never worked with "dat" files. any chance someone could combine these or walk me through how to merge them?

Hi guys, the quick fix for the flying subs can be done manually with the minitweaker and the correct Scene tweak file... You are right, many scene.dat files contain a combinations of mods be they rain - reduction, wave mods or extended horizon mods etc...

So open the minitweaker, navigate to your SH4 directory and load the SH4 scene tweak file..

The entry you want it..

LargeWaveCoef needs setting to "0"

I think that should fix it. Get back to me if not..
