It seems they did a completely half assed job with the DX9 version. DX9 could have easily done all the effects that were in the DX10 version but for some reason they were all left out . They might as well have made the DX9 version of the game 2D

Its because, they say DirectX 10 is something special,
in most cases you see online you clearly see its just been done on purpose. especially the photos, the differences between the 2 sides is too big to be true.

I've seen games videos of the comparing 9 vs 10
when looking at it the 9 version seems to have the graphic of a game that was released years ago and 10 is surreal
I say thats the biggest pile of poop I ever seen.

also from Nvidia webpage, (slorry have to laugh here) , its a trick to make you buy a DirectX 10 card.

I'm not going to trust the whole fuzz about 10 is SURREAL then 9 when you see from the late gen games build under 9 having better effects then they show in thise movies and Pictures relating the comparison of 9 vs 10.

No it was done b/c making all those effects with DX9, would cause the overall system requirements for the DX9 PCs to go wayyyy high. Same goes for Crysis' MP, only DX10 users see the trees falling etc. because the lag it would cause if the DX9 would use the same effects would make it unplayable.

thats what they say, I dont believe that for a second.

many articles proof that DX10 is not that big as they say it is, and in some the FPS doesnt really have a difference between them on the same specs.

but really what a joke DX9 users have issues with letting a tree fall...well , that just makes me wet my pants :rotfl:
I know worse things that affect gameplay then a stupid tree...rofl

Well, believe what you want. I have seen what DX10 myself on my own PC, and I love it.
