I am participating in Operation Wesserubung (invasion of Norway by Germany). I was wondering exactly which event was scripted based on the writeup in the GWX manual. For example, is the sinking of the Glowworm scripted?
I saw the Admiral Hipper and Schranhost & his twin take off for Trondheim and Narvik respectively. I don't have enough speed to keep with them however. I also saw an enemy task force heading towards Narvik. Any idea on where / when I should be to participate in the major battles? i.e. defense of Narvik, sinking the Glowworm, fight between Schranhost vs. enemy battleship? Thanks. I've never seen a scripted event in GWX before and I want to get good seats for the fireworks. ![]()

Yeah the Glowworm is in there
Also the Renown and Scharnhorst\Gneisenau engagement Probably best to head to Narvik April 10th First battle of Narvik April 13th 2nd battle of Narvik Both times you have Br TF entering the Fjords |

Thanks. I've been searching for the glowworm in AF64 but no luck so far. Seems like from the map the Scharnhorst is north of AF38.
If you could give me an idea of where they are, that would be great. Thanks

A bit off-topic here,Kaleuns.Have anybody of you been to Scapa Flow in 1939?
What ships are stationed there during this period? Are there any juicy battleships like "King George V" or "Royal Oak"? ![]() |
