Default Gameplay settings are crazy

Hi there,

I need some help... I have installed SH4 v.1.2 with mod RFB1.27 and I chose degree of difficulty at about 70% for the career but when I begin a campaign all gameplay settings automatically change to 100%! Playing with such difficulty is too hard for a newbie.
So I tried without RFB1.27 and it's the same problem but this time I have all fuel I can want... I chose realistic fuel!
I understand nothing about settings...
Can someone help me please. Thanks a lot...

Take care

The career gameplay settings are separate.

When you start a career, you are asked to pick from some presets, Easy... Hard, Very Hard etc. Those pick the difficulty level settings.

Once in the "office" in a career, look left at the bookshelf, and click on the book on the top shelf (it'll turn yellow on mouse-over). That brings up the difficulty screen you are used to seeing.

On the bookshelf.... it's not the book, it's the radio that does the options and settings. Same idea though.
