Speed up the Hydrophone´s needle

Hello
Is it possible do this?|Everytime a DD pass over me it takes a enormous time for the needle to find the new bearing making harder to know whats happening around the uboat....

Yes, it is.
You can use the Stay Alert crew fix mods (the below tweak is already applied) or open the sensors.dat by yourself using TT tweak and modify the sweep period for all the hydrophones types from 30 (stock) to 20 or 10.

The good side effect is that you sonarman will also becomes more smart!

Good point you raise. OK its only a film, but in Das Boot did you ever notice how quickly the hydrophone operator could move the hydrophone receiver from 90deg port then 90deg stbd?

This could actually be more realistic, if the movie is anything to go by.

One other thing is: why cant we choose which contact is the SO supposed to follow? Why only the nearest? I thought this option would be added to SH4, but they didnt.
