...a flag,exept the subs we are sailing.
can some enlighted spirit try to make a mod of that?

I think someone tried it with SHIII and didnt succeed. So, no luck for SHIV either.

You would have to edit the 3D model of each sub in order to do so. At the current moment, there's no way to edit the models (if I'm not wrong)

From what I recall, it was done but the flag was still showing while submerged. I do not know why working on it was not continued.

It seems logical to me that when the "dive" signal is sound no sailor would run to the flag to lower it and hope the hatch isn't closed and the sub diving by the time he gets back!

FYI, the only time US subs fly thier colors is normally coming and going out of ports. Once underway with the need to submerge at a moments notice, doesn't allow the lowering of colors. Not only that, but we also carried about 10 other country flags during the Vietnam War in case we were challenged at sea. Most often you wanted no one to know who you were.......Easy after WWII when other countries bought US Diesel Boats

I think this can be done the same way that "privateer" is doing hes diesel smoke.
