Default Getting rid of the Grainy look but keeping the post process filters

I'm posting this here, because those who frequent the Mods workshop forum will already be aware of it, but I just added Kapitan_zur_see's 'Remove Grainy Effect' mod, and the game has gone from looking great but a little grainy, to looking superb.

I really like the post process filtering effects in this game, but I never really cared for the grainy effect, which could only be reduced by playing with the Gamma setting and at the price of a much darker picture.

The 'Remove Grainy Effect' mod allows you to have all the filters running and with the correct Gamma setting for the game. It simply gets rid of the grainy effect totally.

So if you're someone who has never been confident enough to add mods to the game, but the grainy effect drives you mad, now might be a good time to download the JSGME and start with this simple mod which in my opinion considerably improves the look of the game.

Happy Hunting,

Terry

It's still darker but now that the white noise is gone, I just bumped gamma up one or two notches and it looks good.

I slammed this little beauty in the mod enabler, switched it on and WOW. I got all the shading effects that his game supports and all I can say is WOW. Did I mention WOW.

Highly recommended mod for visual enhancement! Man, WOW, the colors came alive, the washed out look is gone. Give it a go men, the game just go 100% visually better IMHO You will not be disappointed at all.

My mod of the month has arrived Glad you posted this TDK because sometimes a mod gets lost in the murky waters of the forums and it is a mod that kick major league butt. This is one of those major butt kickers!

The colors become richer as well. This mod does not disappoint.
