I imagine that such a thing might be possible. Although there are certainly packaging differences for various European editions, I suspect that the sim itself is broadly similar wherever you get it from.
The trouble is, to send copies of stuff that someone hasn't actually bought, even if they have a legitimate copy in another language, would almost certainly be illegal. This relates to why companies do not mind modders posting stuff, as the only people using the mods based on their files would be people who already have the files upon which the mod is based. But effectively enabling the sim to be capable of more than it was in its original form with UBISOFT's files is probably a no-no. Perhaps you could contact UBISOFT and see if they can help you? Or maybe it would just be simpler to get a UK version (if a little costly, since you already have SH4). Oddly enough, I'm probably going to be attempting a similar thing very shortly with the WW1 submarine sim 'Shells of Fury', since I ordered a German version of it, and I understand that it doesn't have an English menu option (might be wrong on that though, I guess I'll find out). I suspect my very shaky German language skills are going to be in for an unscheduled upgrade! |

I don't think this will be necessary. I (accidentally) picked up the French version. I could select the English version install, so I get English menus and speech.
The only thing in French is, in fact, the manual and box. I suppose this will be the same for Polish?

Just to back that up. The German version (mine) installs in English no problems.
