When a user refers a post who reads it,and why does the referrer not receive any feedback from moderator?I referred a post by a moderator once and surprisingly it seemed to disappear!

I assume you mean 'Report bad post'.
When you report a post an email notification goes to all the moderators in that section (if not the whole board). Then one of them takes care of the issue. I'm not sure if your details are included when using that button, so there may have been no way to know that you sent it. On the other hand, if you PM a moderator with an offending link, 9/10 you will get a thank you or clarification of thier actions in return. Now, referrals are quite interesting. How many people do I have to get signed up before I start getting special privileges?:hmm: :rotfl:

That what I always thought the referral number on a users profile meant. That is certainly how it works on another site I frequent. What is the point of the bad post feature if the recipient does not know who is sending it!
