Newbie with graphic problems

Hi to all fellow captains,

This newbie purchased SHIII yesterday. I installed it, but the graphics don´t work too well. Instead of sea, most times I see a sandy brown texture surrounding my ship. My bridge crew must have Superman´s sight, because they don´t have binoculars (or at least appear without them). Patched the game to 1.03b, but still looks like I can´t see the sea textures well (I sink a boat in training, and I still can see it in the depths). What is happening?

Welcome aboard kaleun

Straight off....you should install the latest patch (1.4b)
What graphics card are you using....the problem could be that you need up to date drivers or even a better card :hmm:
