Default [REQ] ATTN Modders: Experienced help needed with the bug list.

For those of you that are unaware I maintain a buglist, latest here: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...&postcount=373

I am working under the assumption that we will get at least a 1.3 patch and have "some" reason to believe that. Obviously none of us know what bugs will be fixed but IMO the most important bugs are the ones that cannot be corrected by modding.

Of course that's where I need help - I need to prioritise the list. Whilst I have a minor mod under my hat here I am really a complete noob at modding SH4. I need EXPERIENCED modders to look through the list and either tell me that an issue can be 100% corrected with a mod, or, failing that, provide me with best educated guesses. I will then re-order the list so that at least the devs have a list of the most important fixes they need to do should time become an issue (which it always is).

If you think you can help either post in this thread or PM me.

20) Hydrophones still do not work at periscope depth.

Change a value -9 to -4 inside Sensors_sub_US.sim the MaxSensorHeight of the hydrophones. Now you can hear it yourself and your crew. This allows it to work in more shallow water. See various threads. Easy fix. Some changed it less, some changed all three ocurrances.

See Documis FTT Mod for an exact answer to what works best all around for all submarines. They have different sizes. Never proven if devs wanted this as a feature, or IRL you could use Hyrophones at shallow depth. After all, the Escorts hunting you use them on the surface. We agreee you should be able to use them at periscope depth.

Thanks for your response, I'll update 20) and lower the priority (when I start prioritising!).

Please note that currently the list has no prioritising whatsoever.

Yes happens in small subs, not in all them, the max height for the sensor is under the sensor at peri depth. In stock values if you increase the periscope depth by few meters about 2m only and you recover the contacts.

Just edit the valus as Jungman wrote....
