I am wondering how big damage made those aircrafts to carriers when they hit them Is it possible to sink carrier by those kamikaze pilots ?

Not only aircraft but also they had a big bomb with thire aircraft.
So it will give a big damege,I think.

I can remmber vaguely of a Kamikazes sinking at least 1 carrier in the pacific

The St.Lo in the batte of samar maybe? Or was in another carrier?

The planes were loaded with explosives. Notice the size of the explosion in the very first attack shown. The carrier is of course also loaded with aviation fuel. They burn very well.
