Default Alt and Tab for performance..

I have noticed that when switching from one view to another the fps can take a dive, even more so with patch 1.2.

BUT when ever this happens if I alt and tab out and then back in the fps suddenly go back to normal.

This is rather annoying because half of the game involves me to continually alt and tab'ing just to remain playable.

I have now gone back to 1.1 as the problem, although still there, is not half as bad.

But not as annoying as not being able to alt+tab at all - since when I do that with SH4, it bombs every time

In SH3 you had to press ESC to get to the menu screen and then you could Atl+Tab.

I got used to it and I think I always did the same thing with SH4 and Alt+tab works fine.

Have you tried that Chock?

Yup, tried that - no dice. Not a huge big deal really unless I'm on multiplayer and TS drops off, then it's all down to Gertrude

I have exactly the same behaviour, was wondering if using a ram cleaner would help?

I think this may be some kind of memory leak.
What card do you have?
