enlisting extra crew?

someone mentioned enlisting crew specifically for dammage control.....? how does this work i couldnt figure out where to find more crew from my "office"

You can enlist more crew by clicking the little model sub on your desk in career mode. Click on the crew managment tab on the top of the screen. Then I believe there is a pulldown menu or something similar on the left side which allows you to enlist more crew. You should see a long list of crew members on the left side that you can drag over to their respective sub positions.

The least experienced crew members don't use up any reknown, but the more experienced ones can be expensive. I usually more the least experienced crew to make up DC team in the beginning of my career.
