Default Women drivers..I can't believe it.

Argggghhh my wife did it again. She forgot to put the handbrake on and the car rolled across the road and into the neighbour's fence. The first time it stopped just resting against the fence. This time it broke it.......doh..

Fortunately the guy is ok but still, what a bummer.

My Girlfriend never uses the handbreak and claims that shifting in to park is all she needs.

I have gotten in to the habit of always using the parking break.

Sorry about your car but glad no one got hurt

You have realized my greatest fear! My wife 'never' uses the parking brake and I keep harping on her to use it, but I keep failing. One day, she won't use it in my car and forget to put it in gear or something, and I can see my car rolling out and hitting something, or worse, someone!

She doesn't do it in her SUV either. She rely's on the transmission park setting. Arrgghh! I will probably be in your shoes one day.

The car is fine, not even a scratch.

I put it into 1st gear and the handbrake. Also it is a manual so I can really ram it into first.

I think I might start putting a log behind the wheels too.

Ask your wife what would have happened to some small cute and fluffy animal if it had been in the way of her reckless un-use of the hand break... :hmm:
does she really want to be the killer of fluffy-wuffy-bunny-wabbit?

It's all about negotiating an imperative with the right lever to get the female mind to pay attention to the importance of such minor trifles as applying the hand break on the tonne and a half lump of metal on wheels.

At least she didn't just drive into an oncoming van like mine did; 'the sun was too bright and I just didn't see' the huge Mercedes high top sprinter van coming the other way up a single lane road:rotfl:

But let me guess... you are going to have to pay for the fence? lol
