Hello,
Whilst on my first patrol with the glorious USS Plunger, I bagged my first catch of the day with 2 well placed torpedoes, one amidship and one just forward. I have the auto torpedo load button activated. I was relieved from my patrol area, and found a small harbor and decided to investigate. I found two biggies and only had 2 torpedoes in the forward tubes?!? What's going on with my crew? They had 2 days to reload the tubes and decided against it? I hope it was a bug and not some laziness on my crew! I didnt have my crew at battlestations, I have a full complement of men in the forward torpedo section and still no reloads? So I guess I should restart the patrol and uncheck realistic torpedo reload. |

Was the crew exhausted? I have never had that problem. I have had problems when I was at battlestations for a long time, and my crew was so fatigued that they did nothing for a day. I had to sit on the bottom and let them rest until they recuperated.

I have experienced one patrol where my last torp wouldn't load. I tried everything. Dragging the torp from the loadout screen, chaning men in the torpedo room, going to alert and back. Every possible manipulation. I havent been able to reproduce it, but it does seem as if sometimes reloading will bug on you.

Have the same problem used all of my mounted torpedoes on a convoy a total af 12 ships sunks, 4 destroyers, 8 freigthers.
The crew in forward torpedo room: Fatigue: MAX 21 Health: 100 Auto reload: On The torpedoes have been moved from the storage to the tubes on the torpedo management screen, but when i try to fire a torpedo it still says that its loading. No damage to the boat except the AA gun |

The best way I've found to fix the OTHER torpedo loading issue is to dive and toggle silent running until it's off. Even if you aren't in silent running it can still bug out and that seems to fix it. |

Sounds like a "silent running" issue. Turn off silent running.
I have gotten suspended torp loading at some point when I had auto-load selected and wasn't running silent. Turning auto-load off and then back on immediately got the tubes loading. It's only happened one time. So, there is some kind of bug in there. I suspect it is some interaction between silent running and auto-load, but fatique and watch change could also play a role. |
