It's a bug-Basically, you don't have onboard radar yet, but you can still access the position..Try a later war scenario/career..Radar works fine there. You shouldn't have radar in early '41
There's another version of this bug that seems to affect S boats if you give them SD..You'll get contacts, but can't access the radar. In short, radar's pretty buggy right now it seems..wait for 1.2 |

Not only does the crew report surface contacts on the SD, but they report surface contacts hehe, with bearings also. Sooo broken.

The funny thing ist that although my radar operator on the SD calls out both air and surface contacts all the time, I can't for the life of me turn the damned thing on or off...

I'm wondering if there is any planned interface for the SD at all? the entire radar station is for the use of the SJ only..I think alot of people are getting confused by this.. I'd like some way of knowing that SD is on and operating, and some way of turning it off...Not to mention having it not pick up surface contacts and give bearings and ranges-but that's a (hopefuilly) known bug.. It'd be great if radar had realistic warm-up times, as well (~10minutes SD/~30min SJ)..not just the click on/off |
