Default Framerate Survey - Post your Specs

I thought it may be usefull for users to post system specs and framerate outcomes for comparison. Here's mine:

AMD X2 3800+ running at 4800speeds
2X 7800GTX(256) SLI
2GB PC3200
NFORCE 4 SLI
X-fi Fatality

At 1600X1200 I get 25-35fps during encounters (realize upscaling at work), and 50-60 inside the ship. I've messed around with SLI settings and can't get any setting to work except "split screen" which the NVIDIA load balancing shows is working, but I'm not completely convinced.

I'm curious if the game is heavily reliant on CPU, those darn Intel dual cores seem to always do well. Anyone observed dual core utlitzation during gameplay on either intel and/or AMD?

yes, for example its a well known fact that the performance of the 8800gtx goes hand and hand with your current processor speed

I just heard from a friend of mine running the game with poor
frame rates & studdering graphics. His McAfee was causing
it and when he disabled the anti-virus program, it returned to
normal. So if you are having problems of this nature, check your
anti-virus program...

I'll try that and see if that works. Been having some trouble myself.

I have an undoubtedly mid-range system that I will be running the game on later tonight.

2.54 gHz P4
1gb (4x256) PC800-40 RDRAM
BFG 256mb 7800 GS OC

My monitor is also mid-range, being a 15" LCD that has a native resolution of 1024x768.

1024x768 is perfect since that's all the game will do.:p

Installing now.

Will post specs once I finish installing the game and patch 1.1.

I'm optimistic, because I just ran SHIII+GWX with 16xAF and 8xS AA. Ran pretty smooth, without any major stutters or problems. Really should have done that sooner....
