Default Silent Hunter 4 warship attack video

Battle of Midway is the biggest scenario I have seen, with probably 30 planes and 40 ships, lots of life rafts, parachutes, swimmers, etc. So I turned the graphics details up to see how it would play on my 4 year old minimum spec machine. Not bad!

This is on Easy Mode, no manual TDC and the map gets automatic updates for you.

enjoy!

Cool Neal - looks like those explosions on the carrier gave your system a good kicking!

Cool watching that downed airman running alongside that battleship too. Thanks for posting the video.

Sine the planes were being blown off the deck, do they fal off if the carrier when it rolls over?

Also, do they actually take off as well or are the planes flying already airborne?

Man I dont get my collectors copy for a good week or more still!!

Neil can actually fire his torpedoes in a streight line, something I have yet to master . Why do mine always go 90 degrees to the left?

You expect me to see that, when I can't even fire a torpedo in a streight line?

Nice video I presume if the depth was feet that means it was using 1.1 patch? It was great to see (hear!) better crew feedback on firing torps and getting hits. The previous attack video felt a little lifeless with a silent crew.

lol @ hmatthias!

Your poor computer didn't seem very happy when that flattop when up!

That was the fastest I think I have ever seen a ship sink... how bloody cool!

Nice video, although I was actually kind expecting you'd sink both the ship that passed between you and the carrier as well as the carrier itself - in one volley.

Your torpedo's also seemed to have hit the exact same spot twice, I wonder if that would cause additional damage within the ship.

Thanks for the video. I haven't decided to buy SHIV as yet, but your video helps. Still not sure if my GeForce 6800 card can handle it.
