Default The U.S and Japan and......

What else?

What other nations are in the game. Mind you, not asking PLAYABLE;I KNOW that it's U.S subs all over, but what can you encounter out there, as friendly or neutral ships?

I guess Australia is a must.....and Great Britain, but is there anything else? I'm interested......

I guess if you have the game, you could check the museum, but I don't have it, so please.....?

cheers.

From an ol' skipper.

I don't know but I'd hope there would be British, Australian, Dutch and (as a rare bonus in the Indian ocean) German .

The odd Vichy French merchant should show up as well. USS Bowfin sank one such ship during one of its patrols.

The Russians...they right across the sea in the north

They remained neutral for like 99% of the Pacific war, they would have tons of merchants running about in and out of Vladivostok(spelling?), the Kurils, etc. They had free run of the Sea of Japan, passed through the minefields(because they were set at depths for subs not merchants). Oddly, they sometimes ran without running lights though...not very smart. Japanese hospital ships would do that too sometimes.

Actually some Russian ships were sunk by the Japanese despite the non-aggression treaty, many in fact were running to the US to get Lend-Lease supplies.

The australians are there, but poorly done, theres a kent class cruiser but then the british are modelled with lots of ships they never used in the PTO, that australia did.

Work that one out...

And apparently we flew lancasters, buffaloes and TBF's... :hmm:
