Default GWX 1.02 issues

I had a sub that had a bridge that was basically destroyed. I surfaced the boat and of course it automatically places crew up there...who quickly died...who were quickly replaced...who also died, rinse and repeat. Any attempt to repair the tower also resulted in dead crew, but I was eventually able to place two crew members on the repair crew. Placing any more than that would result in the additional crew dying.

On the same mission, I had my stern torpedo compartment hit and repaired. It showed no damage, but when I attempted to put an officer in there, it reported that the compartment was destroyed (???!). Other petty officers and sailors were in there and I could move them in and out of the compartment.

Lastly, and I have this happen all the time when I'm under attack, I'll get messages in the message window that state [time] CE: with blank messages. I'll often get 3+ of these entries in a row.

On to a question...Can an entire compartment be filled with water without losing the boat as a whole? I haven't had a compartment completely fill up on me in awhile, but I seem to remember that in stock SHIII the boat would be lost if this happened.

Just a suggestion here matey but you might not want to spend too much time pondering over this problem. You might want to consider a clean reinstall due to the fact v1.03 is due very soon. just a polite suggestion
Your flooding question: usually a fully flooded compartment results in the demise of your boat

Yes it was.

Will 1.03 really require a clean install? :/

Only if yours is dirty!:rotfl:

1.03 will be applied in exactly the same way as 1.02.

1.03 will be applied in exactly the same way as 1.02.
And can be applied over any previous release of GWX.
