If you're going to rant......

When the game is released, I think most people will really like it and have a lot of fun with it, and some folks will have a couple of issues with it here and there.

But I think if Forum members are going to rant on about something ( remember Starforce!!! Luckily that won't be an issue this time) then I think we should have the equivilent of a 'swear box', and ranters should make a small contribution to the Subsim fund in order to rant.

Objective criticism is fine...ranting should cost $5

I'll just take a cue from Jesus and ask whoever can make a perfect game to cast the first rant :p

I think it's inevitable that SHIV will have issues to iron out. We hope as few as possible, but it will. That said, if it delivers what it promised, I'll be very happy. (and last I checked, 'pefection' wasn't on the list)

Sticky: Questions about SH4

Sticky: Answers about SH4

You ask a question for example:"How many ships and what kind of submarines are available"?

Some knowlegable member see's the question, they cut and paste the question to the answer thread with
"Quote marks" (doesn't matter who ask the question) to the answer thread.

Instead of playing checkers with the questions and answers all mixed up together with
several different viewpoints ...

Wrong answers can be deleated ... A good or dumb question doesn't get asked twice this way,
but if there is more than one answer the forum can tear that question apart, right?

Two more stickies are self explanatory.

Sticky: "Positive things I like about SH4"
Sticky: "Negative things I have about SH4"

Let Sharkey take care of the ranters in scullery duty ...

I cant wait!

First thing im gona do is complain that the sea is too deep... then that there are too many/not enough clouds in the sky and then im gona complain that the TC x4000 is too fast/slow........... Then il install the game

The old place is probably gonna need a little light house cleaning for the first few weeks.

Just so long as everyone is aware that there is going to be an influx of complaints about the sim, regardless of it's condidition. These complaints will, naturally, range from the apt to the ridiculous. We will have our fair share of individuals who will condemn SHIV after an intensive ten-minute playing session, and vow never to play the game again, casting a pox on all of UbiSoft's projects; past, present and future. Strangely enough, they will then return repeatedly over the next six weeks to remind the collective forum of their decision.

Be prepared, and have your selective blinders on, people.
