Default White ships? (GWX 1.02)

Been playing GWX for afew days now and love it, it's completely rekindled my love for SHIII, to be honest I think I'll even keep SHIII and IV installed symultaniously.

BUT

The only bug I have, it white ships. About 25% of all my Merchant ships (Tankers, Passengers, Tugs) will render completely white.

It's only started happening since GWX was installed (I've only just gotten it alongside the 1.02 release)

So what I'm wondering is, is it a common problem and more to the point is there a fix?

wow that looks cool! looks like its got some sorta cloaking device thats only half working. i think i read somewhere another person having this problem. i think i remember someone suggested ajusting the AA and adaptive AA settings in the gfx card? i think this only applies to ATi though

Seems like the game cant load the ship´s hull textures. :hmm:

On a GeForce 6800 :\

I just wonder if there isn't a config file that'll let me tell the game to load a different texture file (one that exists, preferably )

I'm not an expert on this stuff but I would suggest you get the latest drivers for your card.
