Just curious about those that drink beer here. This is what it's been for me lately:

In keeping with the spirit of the thread and to not totally hijack it, I enjoy a variety of good
beer, Pilsner Urquell being one of them: ![]() Na zdravi! |

If I'm down the pub then it's usually Guinness,
but at home I get this French wheat beet stuff from my local tesco's, it's very drinkable indeed. Never say never to a good brandy or cognac though. Absinthe mmmm must get some ![]()

Well, back in the day when I used to party in Deutschland it was Parkbrau Pils or Export. Also liked Hefeweizen with a lemon, Dos Equis Dark, Becks Dark, Molson, Molson Brador, and Czech Budvar. U.S. imports labeled as Warsteiner, Bitburger, etc. do not taste like the originals (check the labels).
Nowadays it's Mountain Dew or Hawaiin Punch... ![]() Yours, Mike |

Generally beers stronger than 7-8% are rank, and only produced for high ABV.
Mostly I'm a spirits drinker, but if beer is going I'll have an Erdinger. Or a good stout.

I don't agree with the 7-8% limit though. SOme of the best tasting beers ever and highest rated (The Rochfort that I list above for example garners an unheard of 96 points) have very high alc contents. -S |
