So Far 75 of you have downloaded River Class Frigate type 2
I was wondering if anybody has managed to run into one
yet. (or worse 4 of them)

if so leave your impressions id love to hear a sea story.

They suck :rotfl: .

I've been held down by River Class DEs for as long as nine hours. I can't be sure it was always a River 2 though as I don't use external view. I'm also not sure I fear them any more than a Buckley...

I'm in Oct 43 and haven't been sunk. Yet.

the distinguishing diffierence between River FF type 2 and the River DE (Buckey too) is a hedgehog.
that should make them easy to ID even without external.

if he held you down 9 hrs did he really suck or did the experience?

Somebody on here has it as a quote it was said by an american sub skipper but I cant remember which one but it
is totally true for the Rivers here
